4 1/2 Miles or 830.8 (ha), Maximum depth 61 Metres, 200 feet, Mean depth 19.4 Metres.

Lake Characteristcs:
Easily accessible year round roads. Area of lots of Crown land. Most of the lake has beautiful, gently sloping sandy shorelines. A great lake in general for children to play in the sand. The lake is a little north but worth the drive. Papineau has an Island called Davis Island, this Island has about 10 cottages on it. The boat launch is off Papineau Lake Road, keep going a little after the pavement stops, look for it on your right. According to our records the lake has 257 properties on it.

Fishing:
Lake Trout, Large Mouth Bass and Northern Pike.
